Java Trees are specially selected from plantation-grown trees in Indonesia. Only around one in every 100 plantation trees meets the desired size and natural shape required to create these distinctive parrot perches.

Once selected, each tree goes through a careful preparation process. The Java wood is meticulously de-barked, thoroughly cleaned, hand-sanded and oven-baked before being paired with a sturdy, hand-carved wooden base.

The entire preparation process takes approximately one month, helping to ensure that each Java Tabletop Tree is carefully prepared and finished before reaching you.

Because every piece is made from natural wood, no two Java Trees are exactly alike. Variations in shape, grain, colour and texture are part of what makes each perch unique.
